I’m getting married Sept. 27th.  Hooray!  Also, I now live in CT.  Perhaps, once, the dust settles I may share here once again.  We shall see. Until then, Ben.

We watched the academy awards. Well, the 3 hours that the cable box recorded at least. Which means we didn’t actually watch the last three awards. Those are the big ones. Whatever.

oh kids!

While working at the bookstore today, two younger gentlemen (and by younger I mean under the age of 10) were discussing how they should spend their collective funds of seventy-five cents.  Here’s how the conversation ensued…

Boy 1:  “Should I get one of these [notebooks] or should I get some candy?”
Boy 2:  “Candy.  I think that would be a good idea.”
Boy 1:  “But we haven’t eaten dinner yet.”
Boy 2:  “What’s your point?”

That’s what I’m  talkin’ about…

Because I committed in my heart to post here are some brief thoughts…

I’ve been in New England for two weeks now, and it’s been quite the learning experience.  Here’s been my adventure in style of scattered thoughts.

Dunkin’ Donuts.
I’m often more comfortable around kids then I am around adults.
New England smells great.
Things are not always as they seem, which means, there are things unseen.
Mystery.
I miss Duke Ellington.
Nightwatch is where it’s at.
Chosen. Expressly named.
I appreciate structure.
Wisdom.
God is good all the time.
Still in James.
Holy Spirit, breathe.
Old friends.
I am somehow even more clumsy and forgetful.  Imagine that.
ATF, here I come.
Kansas City, don’t forget me.

I encourage whoever may happen upon this miniscule writing space of mine upon the web to turn the dial on your idiot box to whatever channel may be the broadcasting corporation under the moniker CBS at 10pm et/pt this evening for the season two premiere of ‘Jericho’.  Though I deem it difficult for anyone to jump into the show at this point, it is still highly recommended.  I also highly encourage the aforemention potential reader to rent, yea, purchase the season one dvd of the show.  You won’t be disappointed…
